On April 14, 2023 the American Cancer Society will host its 8th Annual Best Dressed Jackson event. This special evening honors leadership professionals who are making a positive impact on the Jackson metro area. The honorees are nominated by their community for upholding substantial character. Their mission is to increase education and advocates for the early detection and prevention of cancer through these rising leaders. Funds raised at Best Dressed Jackson are used to provide critical patient services, fund Hope Lodge and transportation to treatment, cancer research, and education for the residents of Mississippi. 

With your help, the American Cancer Society is able to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. In 2023, an estimated 17,190 Mississippians will be diagnosed with cancer, and almost 6,700 will lose that battle. Each one of those Mississippians is the reason that we host this event and ask for your support. We are dedicated to helping eliminate cancer as a major health problem by prevention, saving lives, and diminishing suffering. Our efforts in the fight against cancer have contributed to a 27 percent decline in U.S. cancer death rates just in the past 29 years, with nearly 2.6 million deaths prevented.
